Description
The CP Motion system is a motorized movement therapy device that enables passive and active mobilization. It supports the rehabilitation of patients with limited joint mobility by performing controlled movements and thus improving joint function.
Highlights
- Individually adjustable movement parameters
- Gentle mobilization to reduce pain
- Promotion of blood circulation and metabolism in the treated area

Operating principle & technology
The CP Motion system is a motorized movement therapy that enables both passive and active mobilization. Joint structures are mobilized through controlled, gentle movements to improve mobility and reduce pain. This form of therapy is particularly suitable for patients with restricted mobility, post-operative complaints or degenerative joint diseases. The individually adjustable movement parameters enable targeted and gentle mobilization, which stimulates the metabolism in the tissue and supports healing.

FAQ
Is your CPM suitable for knee, hip and ankle treatments?
BTL offers the CPM solution that embraces hip, knee, and ankle joints.
What parameters are important in a CPM?
The biggest advantages of the BTL CPM are precise real-time patient’s threshold angle setting, setting the movement speed, gradual dosing of the motion range, and the possibility to stop the movement in the final position for a certain time (i.e. rest breaks).
What indications should use a CPM?
CPM is suitable for hip and knee joint replacements, arthrotomies, arthroscopies, ligament reconstructions, and fracture surgical treatments.
CPM vs. manual therapy?
CPM promotes gentle and precise movements at a high repetition rate.
